Today we went on our first outing as a family. KB did wonderful on her first car ride and slept the whole time. I was having visions of a screaming child in the backseat and was thoroughly relieved when she went to sleep and stayed that way the entire length of the trip. I'm not sure why I was nervous. We have a very well behaved child who spends her days (and nights) sleeping for lengths of time.
Despite the rainy windy weather we enjoyed the drive and accomplished the reason for leaving the house. Yeah us! :)
