I tried to clean the house this morning, but Miss Katie was having none of that. I almost got frustrated and then realized I could be spending time with my little girl and enjoying her happy smiles and laughs. So I did. After playing for a bit, she got tired and I rocked her to sleep for her nap. I treasured a sweet moment of snuggling with my daughter, then laid her down.
And then I cleaned the kitchen and started some laundry. I have some more household chores to do, but when Miss Katie wakes up I'm spending all my time with her. I only have today and tomorrow before it's back to work and only seeing Miss Katie in the evenings.
