Walks and Smiles

My little girl loves to walk! I took her to the local state park with the intent to play in the grass and toss her ball around, maybe a little walk too. We strolled to the grassy area and as I got ready to toss the ball, KB took my hand and looked up at me with the most precious smile and said, "walk?" So we walked. We saw lots of birds and heard lots of bugs. We saw several dogs and a few folks. Throughout our walk Miss KB would glance at our hands and then look up at me with a huge grin. I think she enjoyed the mommy/daughter time immensely. We walked until KB wanted to wander into the fields of tall grass.

Exploration is an important part of walking and we spent some time doing that. We headed back to the car area and kicked the ball around some. It was a beautiful evening!
