Good bye Doug

We said goodbye to our dog Doug tonight. He hasn't been fitting in well with our family and Katie has been resenting him more and more instead of loving to play with him. There were several other reasons, but no need for minor details.

We returned him to the breeder and she was more than happy to take him back and re-home him for us. I think she may even keep him for herself the way she was gushing over his coloring and stance.

Katie hasn't made a big deal out of her Doug not being around which I am very thankful for. I have deemed our apartment pet free going forward. We have too small a space for any size pet. When we move to a house we will get a different dog with a more mellow personality.

In the meantime, Goodbye Doug. Have fun on 20 acres of fields and yard to run in and lots of dogs to play with. You will be much happier being able to run to your hearts content and play with friends. We'll miss you, but know this is best for everyone involved.
