Happy Dance

I got a car. I got a car. I got a car hey hey hey hey. The ol' Honda is finally on its last leg. We can either sink further $$ into it (which I have never been a fan of doing) or we could get some new wheels for this Mama. We have been looking for a little while at vehicles here and there with no big rush until Friday when the screw situation heighten the sense of urgency. With Friday night plans changed around, we set out Saturday to obtain a new mode of transportation. After almost not making it out alive at some city dealerships, we headed back to our easy going small town dealer who promptly set us up with a sweet little ride for a good price. The process took a little longer than expected (I guess it was the day to buy cars for everyone else as well), but KB enjoyed the play room and writing on every scrap of paper in sight so it wasn't too bad. Miss KB was quite excited to sign the paperwork and we had to give her something to sign during the process. She even took charge of the car keys and token hat with a look that said "I'm driving, let's blow this joint." I love that sweet girl. We did realize how much we have been car shopping since now whenever we walk in a parking lot, KB automatically tries to open the doors and look inside. Oops. We are happy to have a new vehicle that will transport me safety to work and back. While we are thankful for the miles the Honda gave us, it will be nice to be able to roll down a window and listen to some music and have a defroster and and and.... You get the picture. Please excuse me as I resort to the happy new car dance.
