Thursday night Mr. Llama came down with a stomach bug only we thought it was something he ate. Friday he was feeling much better and we all went to a family wedding Saturday morning. The wedding was beautiful and the weather stayed sunny long enough for outdoor pictures. KB was a trooper and fell asleep on papa's shoulder right before she could be included in much pictures.
Mr. Llama wasn't feeling great, but pulled through and came to the reception later that evening. We enjoyed seeing extended family and sending the bride and groom off on their honeymoon. We packed up our tired baby girl and started our long drive home. About 40 minutes in KB threw up ALL OVER the car. I didn't know such a little girl could throw up THAT much. It was awful and KB was miserable the rest of the way home. We got her cleaned up and in bed shortly after arriving home. I had started feeling a bit queasy by that point, but didn't think anything of it.
Sunday morning about 1.30am, I woke with that oh no feeling. I barely made it to the bathroom before the entire contents of my stomach came up... Yuck. I managed to go back to sleep after that and thankfully KB slept the entire night. We awoke Sunday morning with a happy baby and very sick mama. At least Papa was feeling better minus a sore back.
I was miserable all day Sunday. I couldn't bring myself to eat anything and when I tried I just wanted to throw up again. Thankfully I woke up this morning feeling much better and back to my almost normal self.
I am so thankful I didn't have to be sick for more than a day. I am so sad that we may have infested a whole wedding party with the stomach bug. I pray we didn't. I would have stayed home if I had known we would all end up sick by the end of the weekend.
