Mr. Llama and I went on a date Friday night. We entrusted KB to her wonderful babysitter and went out on the town. Okay, really we just went to dinner. :)
We meandered up the road and found a quaint little restaurant that served delicious food. I was a little hesitant when I heard the name... Crazy Sushi... but I warmed up to the idea and actually had a wonderful time! I even tried a piece or two of a spicy tuna roll. Surprisingly I liked it. Shhhh, don't tell anyone. I also managed to eat my entire meal with chopsticks. A first for me. The salad was the hardest thing to manage, but I didn't give in to the fork on the table. Mr. Llama said he was impressed with my skills.... or maybe he just laughed. I can't remember. ;)
After dinner we found a frozen yogurt shop and enjoyed some yummy dessert. It was so nice to go out just the two of us. It was even nicer knowing that KB was in excellent hands and that I didn't have to worry about her.
We meandered our way back to pick up Miss KB and visited with our friends for a bit. It was a nice ending to a lovely date night.
