We have decided not to move from our current location and stay put for another year. There are many factors involved in our decision, but suffice to say this is the best situation for our current situation.
As a result of the not moving part I decided that I needed to rearrange the whole apartment. I haven't gotten to unpacking the packed boxes (I got one energy boast during my pregnancy and packed all our pictures, books, knickknacks, and movies), but that will come. In the meantime we obtained a new entertainment center and a new smaller desk for Mr. Llama. We are on the lookout for a 5 shelf bookcase... hint hint. :) We also replaced the foam in our couch making it feel and almost look brand new. The cushions feel so much better with the new foam! We had looked at getting a new couch, but this was a great money saver and we are very happy with the results. (For the local folk- I recommend RB Upholstery for all your upholstery needs).
I have grand plans for the rest of the house and the backyard. Although I am realistic that the backyard may not happen.... again.
