Forever Family

Yesterday was our one year wedding anniversary. We celebrated by going through the temple and getting sealed. Oh what a day! It was not without a little stress, but we made it. The ceremony was beautiful and Katie looked angelic in her white dress. It was a wonderful experience kneeling at the altar with Michael knowing we were making a choice that would affect us in the afterlife. Tears of joy welled up inside and one or two may have escaped down my face. Friends and family were there to witness our forever union. A moment of sadness came when I thought of the ones that couldn't be there with us.... some by choice, others by circumstance.
Michael and I joke about how many times we have married each other. We think three times is plenty good. The first time was in June last year when we eloped to the Bishop's house. The second time in August when we exchanged vows and rings in front of family and friends. The third time yesterday when we were sealed in the Portland Temple.
