Things my 3 yr old teaches me....
~A magnifying glass placed against your ear helps you hear better, placed against your mouth helps you sing louder.
~A pen is the most diversified toy you can have. It can be a boat, a straw, a telescope, a person, a conductor wand, a pirate's weapon, a treasure, and of course, a pen!
~Being a princess has more to do with how you feel than what you wear. If you think you have a beautiful gown on and twirl and twirl around saying how beautiful you are, everyone will acknowledge that your pajamas do indeed look like a beautiful princess dress!
~Have a purse of small treasures will pass the time no matter where you are.
~Reading books is an important part of the day. Lots of books! Two whole shelves of books!
~A box or laundry basket makes the best boat, car, train, truck, etc.
~Singing and dancing is more important that cleaning and sweeping.
~All bugs are ladybugs.
~If you forget a friend's name just say "Hey Kids!" and someone will respond.
~Taking a name from your favorite movie and calling your friend that name is not really effective, but makes for confusing parents.
~Buttons are fun to push.
~ Play doh and painting should be done every day.
~Dollies make good substitutes to express frustrations on.
~Acknowledge your accomplishments whether it be putting on shoes by yourself, finishing your dinner, or finding a lost toy. Say "I did it!" in your proudest voice with your biggest smile and you'll feel on top of the world!
