February Update

I haven't made time to blog about anything.... Not that life is very exciting.

Katie is perfecting the art of throwing a temper tantrum. It has been a rather frustrating couple weeks where the yelling and screaming have been hard to deal with. I am trying to help her with her words, but she still doesn't talk much which makes it hard. Other than that, she is a ball of energy and laughter. She LOVES dancing and music. Papa recently got her a pair of tennis shoes and she has taken to running wherever she can. She loves to stomp and show off her running skills.

Doug is still around despite some frustrations. We love him, but our apartment is too small for a dog (no matter how small they are). Katie loves him to pieces and we are working on taking him for walks more as the weather improves. His greatest issue is coming when called. Papa did put up a fence in the backyard so he can run outside for periods of time.

Papa is being a good sport and taking great care of our little girl while I am working. He has been picking up some computer work to pass time which makes a nice little side job. He loves being Katie's papa and takes our little girl everywhere. He is still an amazing chef and made some deliciously scrumptious meat the other night. I couldn't even tell you what it was, but it was beyond yummy.

I have been keeping busy at work; both the office and leasing job. Thankfully I filled my last empty apartment and hope to have a break from that for a while. I still love my office job. The company is great and taking steps to expand which is exciting. I have been dealing with some working mama's guilt, but am trying to work through it and not get too frustrated with myself.

Overall we are all healthy and happy going through a sometimes crazy, but most times normal life.
