Summer Sunny Sundays

I try not to over complain about the heat... I know other people have it so much worse and at least we have a car with AC we can go sit in. Yes, we sit in the parking lot in the car with the AC blasting. We also go for drives just to cool off from the intense inside heat.
Some days it is just hard and expressing my dislike and misery seems to help. That doesn't justify my feelings one way or another, it just makes it what it is. I dislike being hot which just makes me grumpy. Our apartment gets really hot on any sunny day which makes sunny summer days kinda hard to deal with unless we leave and go someplace cool.

Since today is Sunday, I should be at church enjoying the weekly worship meeting and indoor AC. However, Miss Katie is taking a nap and I just don't feel like waking her up (or keeping her up) and dealing with Miss Grumpy Dress the rest of the day. It's one thing when mama is grumpy, it's a whole other thing when baby AND mama are grumpy. I know that my list of priorities are a little off today. And I'm making excuses that aren't valid unless I let them be. Sometimes it is hard to go to church. It's been a long week and Sunday is the only day I have to unwind before gearing up for another long week. That doesn't make skipping out on church okay. I'm not sure what it makes....... Too hot to dig any deeper at the moment.
