I'm feeling rather blah today. This past week has been lacking on sleep due to KB's teething woes. The poor girl just wants to snuggle and sleep with her mama all night. Unfortunately that means a lot less sleep for mama. I thought that babies sleeping in bed would mean more sleep, but it doesn't in my case. KB's two front teeth are all the way through now so hopefully we can have a little break before the rest of the teeth come in.
KB got a music toy for Christmas and she is starting to love it. She has figured out that it makes music if she pushes the different buttons. She will sit and rock out to the songs for a minute or two before finding a more quiet toy. Before Christmas KB didn't have any "noise" toys (by our choice) and now she has three or four things that make noise. It's interesting to see her take on them and I love that she doesn't pound them to the point of making me crazy. Her favorite "toy" by far is still her Papa's headphones. She loves them. Best toy ever.
We had a wonderful Christmas spent with family in Albany. We also had two weddings to attend the week following Christmas. Lots of driving was involved but the weddings were worth it. Katie didn't appreciate the car seat riding, but she had fun with all the cousins her age. The matching dresses were adorable for one of the weddings. I'll have to find some pictures to post.
New Year's Eve was spent with our dear friends. We ate yummy homemade hamburgers and french fries and played a game. It was a wonderful evening and we made it home before midnight. Oh the wild life we live. :)
KB has found me and requests some attention. I suppose I have lounged around in jammies long enough and it's time to officially start the day..... I'm going, I'm going.
