Every time something is listed without a price on an online garage site, the conversation always goes something like this.....
Seller: make offer
Me: what price range were you thinking?
Seller: Just suggest a price and if it is close to what I'm thinking, I'll let you know.
Me: Can you just tell me what range you are in so I know if it is close to my budget?
Seller: just make an offer.
Me: *makes offer*
Seller: that's not even close. I want at least *absurd* amount.
Me: That's above my nicknack budget.
Seller: Then why did you waste my time.
Me: Because you wouldn't tell me your price range!
Seller: You should have offered a fair price!
Me: I think my offer is a fair price for the item listed in its condition. I can buy that new for a nickel under your price range. Why would I buy it used from you for a nickel more.
Seller: It's a high quality priceless heirloom that means so much. It's worth more than any regular store price.
Me: *posts link to walmart image of exact same product for a nickle less than what seller asked for*
Seller than leaves conversation, deletes post, reposts with same grainy pictures, updates description to include "priceless heirloom," and lists price for twice as much. Oh and blocks me from commenting.
Mature people. Real mature.
