KB and myself took a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong road trip to visit Mr. Llama over the Thanksgiving Holiday. We made arrangements to fly home instead of attempting an even longer drive home.
KB has never flown in an airplane before and I was super nervous for the both of us. The airport we flew out of is one of the largest in the US. We thought we arrived with time to spare, but alas we did not. Everything moved smoothly albeit slowly. We got to our gate with hardly a moment to spare and had to double check that we could actually get on the plane. Once settled, take off was a breeze. The overall 3 hr flight was without incident.
On the descent KB had some nervous moments and I'm pretty sure her ears were bugging her. I took Uncle J's advice and massaged her ears in a J motion. It seemed to work, but she still was nervous. I didn't realize how much until we landed and KB exclaimed "MADE IT!"
Yes my sweet girl, we made it.
