We have been making positive life changes in our family and improving our health during the process! Exciting things!
Katie is having a hard time adjusting to new foods. She has opted to not eat instead of trying one bite of something new. Of course we don't let the poor girl starve and have had to make a couple double dinners. I don't like to encourage picky eating, but also acknowledge that she is going through a frustrating stage of growing, communication, etc.
Mr. Llama is on a new regime of supplements and healing. I love watching the positive changes happening and the healing that is taking place. It's been a long hard road. This is the first time since his hospital stay that we have seen progress in his body healing. *Happy Dance*
The positiveness of the changes has not stopped the hardness of it all. Having the most unsocial diet in the world makes events a challenge, but we are working through it. I will be happy when I can slowly add more variety and social friendly food back in the diet.
Along with the (forced) eating changes I am walking 4 times a week, 11+ miles. It is not quite up to the 13.1 that is looming large, but I am comfortable with my progress. A very nice side effect of all this is the weight loss on my part. I detest baggy pants, but it is a nice problem to have!
Our hope is to continue making these positive changes be lifetime goals and create a happier healthier family and home.
God bless!
